Have you mastered the art of “hint-dropping” yet? Accoring to my mother, I have. I was in the car and meekly mentioned “It would be nice to have a mannequin in my room, you know to try out outfits and such on.” The same day I come back in from shoveling to my overexcited mother looking like she has something to tell me. The thing was that she ordered me five “dress-forms” on amazon.com for a good price! This left me a bit confused and excited. Long story short, ive half-mannequins are now hanging up in my closet modeling some of my favorite outifts.
So, what does a dollar store diva do with this new kind of investment? Take a bunch of pictures with a bunch of outfits and blog about them, of course!
This first look is a dress from forever 21. I got it in the summer but I never really wore it. Under the breasts there is lace and between there are buttons. There is a also a basic but cute floral print. This is good for shopping with the girls or a day out in the spring.

This may look weird because it wouldn’t hang up so it’s laying down, but a striped crop top and a Michael Kors high-waisted skirt. Pair this with some gladiator heels or ankle boots an you’ll be all set.

The top is from American Eagle, with two different patterns, and pants from H&M.

This outfit is my favorite. When I finished piecing thing together, I was so proud. I thought it was straight out of a magazine. All adoration aside, this would be perfect for a concert in the summer or maybe a day on the beach. The top is from Beyond Vintage, paired with a Forever 21 Belt and skirt.
