If you haven’t done it already, it’s prime time to get your shopping for spring 2011 done! The bathing suits have been in stores since december, but that’s nothing new. This blog will tell you tips and tricks to keep your wallets almost as heavy as your shopping bags.
First off, you need to dress to impress when you shop as well. Good shopping outfits can slip on and off easily, such as leggings and a big slouchy tee with some boots and necklaces or a cute minidress or leggings, a blazer and white v-neck. Keep it comfortable and classy, but avoid sweatpants. You need outfits that can slide on and off easily if you are trying many things on.
That brings us to the first tip, don’t buy things for the sake of it. Many women including me fall into this habit. It’s payday, you see something you really want but it’s not practical… not great things can happen. When you go shopping, have a set list of outfits you want to put together and peices you want to purchase. Rarely deviate from this set path unless something is absoulutely gorgeus.
Also, set a budget. Before you buy something ask yourself: “Do I really need this?” When I’m shopping, If I want to buy a surplus of something such as denimn shorts or v-necks, buy it at a nonexpensive store where there is a sale or they are at a reasonable price. But if I see something really great and worth it that may be on the expensive side, I weigh the pros and cons and go for it if I really want it.
Finally, some good stores to get spring clothes are Forever 21, Express, Delias, H&M, PacSun, Lacoste, and Ralph Lauren.
