Ah, spring.

It’s the time of year when your boots are full of slush and the sky is full of snow. Our eyes may be looking at the blizzard ahead but in our minds we are imagining the warm spring even more ahead of us. I know I am. Lately I have been anxiously thinking about spring and all the good it brings us, even though it’s only January…

So have our designers! The new spring trends have been out for a while now. Desginers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Stila, Michael Kors, Tory Burch and Chanel have their new lines out, and many more.  As you know, Chanel’s spring line is Byzantine Empire inspired, with structured shoulders and brass embellishments. Marc Jacob’s spring line at NY Fashion Week this year brought dramatic color to the event. Ravishing bright colors, florals, and ruffles seemed to be the trend.

As I was browsing the mall today that is the trend I saw as well. Surrounding me were bright colors, cute floral sundresses, ruffles, and especially short ripped shorts.  I cannot wait until spring so I can walk around on the beach in my floral sundresses, shop in my ruffled skirts, and stroll in the city in my ripped denimn shorts. I’m sure you cannot wait until then as well. So the trends for the spring seem promising, only a few more months until you can rock them!
