Ugg Frenzy

002: There’s no doubt about it. Whether you live in California or Alaska, you’re going to see Ugg-clad women (..and some men) from the ages of pre-teen to Grandparents sporting Ugg Boots. When people hear that term, they often think of the basic ugg boots, beige colored and jeans tucked in. There are many ways to wear them, and other styles.

This is one example. This style is called the Bailey. I have been seeing it all over the place at school, etc. It is very cute, still comfortable, and it seems to have a simple whimsicalness to it. Since it is fancier, match it with a cardigan or a nice blouse, perhaps with lace or glitter, and dark skinny jeans or leggings (jeggings if you must.)

This is a picture I took of the boots I just bought today. They are one of my favorite styles of uggs, the cardigan. Not only is it classy and cute, but very versatile. They could be pefect for bumming it at home, or going out on a snowy day. I got these Steve Madden ones at Macy’s for 30 dollars!

This brings up another great point about “uggs.” I never in my life have owned a real pair of Uggs. To me they seem too expensive. If you look hard enough, there are some really good alternatives out there - Steve Madden, Bearpaw (which i have), Whooga (which is straight from Australia), Zoe & Zac and everything else - except for Airwalks.

This final boot is just a style popular this season. No, the are in no way uggs. There are many variety of fancier boots this season. This is my pair. I wanted a lighter color, but since I sometimes have trouble geting boots on and these fit. Boots like these are insprired by this fall’s military inspired looks, such as studded military jackets, stiffened collars, and crave-worthy doc martens.
